Picture of the Week 2015 - Week 1

Since coming back to Mexico City I have wanted to get some images of the volcanoes Izataccihuatl and Popcatepetl. In my drive to work I saw that (from where we are in the city) the sun rises behind them and have just been waiting for my chance. This morning I finally got it and got some great images! Enjoy!

These volcanoes have a legend, which you can read here. Izataccihuatl is the volcano on the left and means (roughly) "the sleeping woman." The volcano looks like the profile of a sleeping woman.
